Individual Pictures of Puppies and Descriptions.

Below you will find pictures and descriptions of each of the puppies to help the families get to know each of them better. At around 6 weeks of age, we will do temperament testing and write up a description below of how each puppy is developing. After this, we will be picking the puppy that we believe best fits your family based on information given on your application as well as during chatting and getting to know each other.

Please keep in mind that these descriptions are how we currently see the puppies developing. Color-wise the puppies will likely continue to get lighter as they get their puppy fuzz in and once they get their adult color, I find they almost always end up darker than their color as a puppy. The ear color is said to be a good estimate of their future color. It will take them around 2 years to develop their adult coat and color. As for personality, this is never a guarantee and can develop and change as they grow in their new environment with new people, new things, and a routine, boundaries, and set of rules.

We believe it is very important to keep an open mind and spend lots of time getting to know your own puppy and start socializing when they come to live with you so that you can learn to teach it in a way that they will thrive!

Thankfully all of our puppies are raised here in a positive and interactive setting so we believe that no pick is a "bad" pick! We provide them with a lot of socialization and positive experiences to get them off to the right start, it is up to you to continue that. Your puppy will be introduced to new sounds, places, experiences, kids, other dogs, cats, and other animals around our place. The quality of experiences is more important than the quantity. Meaning for example, your dog may grow up around kids but if those experiences are negative then the dog may not like kids. So making sure the experiences are positive is key!

Goldens naturally make great family dogs and fit in great with an active lifestyle! They are typically easy to train and eager to please their owners. They do need regular exercise and mental stimulation to keep from being bored and developing negative behaviors.

Photos to come starting around 1wk of age!

Individual descriptions of each puppy to come around the 6 weeks of age mark!

Yellow Female

Physical Description; Yellow is dark golden in color with a typical wavy puppy coat. She is the second largest of the females weight-wise. She has the tiniest patch of white hairs right under her chin and a tiny white marking on one of her back toes. These white spots will likely fade away as she matures.

Temperament Description; Scored mostly 4’s on the Volhard Puppy Test. "The kind of dog that makes the perfect pet. Best choice for the first time owner. Rarely will buck for a promotion in the family. Easy to train, and rather quiet. Good with people, children, although may need protection from the children. Choose this pup, take it to obedience classes, and you’ll be the star, without having to do too much work! Titbits: The puppy with mostly 3’s and 4’s can be quite a handful, but should be good with children and does well with training. Energy needs to be dispersed with plenty of exercise."

Yellow is naturally confident, has good energy, and is very engaging. She approaches happily and follows me around. She is quiet and calm when being picked up and does not struggle. She will go explore on her own without a pal when she is curious and likes to wrestle with her siblings. I would consider her neutral within the pack.

Red Female

Physical Description; Red is dark golden in color with a typical wavy puppy coat. She is the largest of the females weight-wise. She was born with a tiny little white patch of hairs on her forehead that has pretty well already begun to fade away into her highlights.

Temperament Description; Scored mostly 3’s (with lots of 4's) on the Volhard Puppy Test. "Can be a high-energy dog and may need lots of exercise. Good with people and other animals. Can be a bit of a handful to live with (as all smart dogs can be). Needs training, does very well at it and learns quickly. Great dog for second time owner. Titbits: The puppy with mostly 3’s and 4’s can be quite a handful, but should be good with children and does well with training. Energy needs to be dispersed with plenty of exercise."

Red is naturally confident, has good energy, more than some of her siblings but not over the top, and is very engaging. She approaches happily and follows me around eagerly wanting attention. She is quiet and calm when being picked up and does not struggle, though she is ready to go off and play when she is put down. She will go explore on her own without a pal when she is curious and likes to wrestle with her siblings. I would consider her a leader within the pack.

Purple Female

Physical Description; Purple is dark golden in color with a typical wavy puppy coat. She is the smallest of the females weight-wise. I would not consider her runty at all, she is very normal for her age. She does not have any noticeable white markings.

Purple is confident and is a watcher/thinker. She is not the type to run head first into things like most puppies. She has good energy but is the most mild. She approaches happily and follows me around. She is quiet and calm when being picked up and does not struggle. She would sit and be held all day if it was her choice. You will usually find her following a pal when exploring. She likes to wrestle with her siblings. I would consider her a follower within the pack.

Pink Female
