Co-Ownership "Guardian" Program
Golden Retrievers are naturally very social dogs, they love people and thrive within family settings. That is truly what makes them such a great breed. Our dogs are a complete part of our family while we are training, competing, and raising puppies and we would like to keep it that way.

To continue having a successful program, the number of dogs within our family and program increasing is inevitable; this includes retired dogs, current breeding dogs, and upcoming dogs. We create quality relationships with our dogs and get very attached.
With this Guardian Program, it is our goal to team up with like minded individuals who are interested in adding a golden retriever to their family, while also allowing the dog to remain a part of our program. Ideally we would love to have individuals who are just as interested in the training and eventing portion as we are so they can be truly involved.
It is important to us that we are still able to maintain the high standards we have for our program in regards to training, competing, and health testing dogs. The dog will be placed as an adult or puppy with the knowledge that we will be able to train, title, and health test them to our standards in order to join our breeding program.

Ultimately how it works is, the dog lives primarily with their Guardian family and they take care of typical day to day care and training, normal dog ownership costs, etc. The dog would come to us specifically for formal training, eventing, health testing, and breeding purposes. We will cover all of the financial burden involved with that. We don't take the ownership of these dogs lightly so developing a trusting relationship with our Guardians is very important.
